Testing for COVID-19 is available in San Diego. Although the exact testing criteria may differ slightly between different institutions, one can most definitely be tested if he or she has typical COVID-19 symptoms and has had travel history to the "hot zones" such as China, Italy, or Iran. Turn-around for test results should be 18-24 hours for most inpatient location, and 48 hours for most outpatient locations (clinics, doctor's offices).
