赞这个观点。 我这里中等城市，口罩真是不怎么用得上。出门都是自己的车，现在的情况也不去shopping mall。 买东西错开高峰时间。 真是近距离不怎么接触陌生人。把口罩留给那些大城市出门依赖公共交通的老人和其他需要的人。

我在家附近Walmart 还有7瓶存货 跑过去也就5分钟 店员说，都没有了 你不要相信网上说的。

我在疫区，现在学校停课，家长在家，也不需要口罩。不去人多的地方，真不需要口罩。
被骗几次了，看到limited我都不去，in stock才马上去也会扑空
今天在湾区safeway看到了他家自家品牌的口罩， 跟以前价格一样， 是泰国产的。 好多盒，，竟然没人买。。。外国人喵都不瞄一眼。。。
我们wfh. 1 月份买了20 几个口罩，因为绝大部分时间在家，限制所有人多地方出行，到现在一个口罩也没有用去。其他防护服之类，根本不会去买。计划只是在拥挤的公共场合（哪里？）以及可能去医院场合用口罩。还有哪些场合应当戴口罩，求建议。
我觉得既然生活在这里，入乡随俗是合适的，当然也不是完全不戴，有必要时就戴，但是必要的场合真是非常少。还有，作友好提示，如果你是美籍华人，说“外国人”就不太合适。如果你是中国籍，那么在这里，你，而不是别人，才是“外国人”。

可能因为中国人种族单一，文化上也不强调个性个人，心理映像就是跟自己不一样的就是外国人(外族人)，自己不是one of the people，很难有融入感，特别是在多种族移民国家，所以他们的世界观是中国人和外国人，国内和国外。
