Dear President, I am very concerned about the recent novel coronavirus outbreak in China and its threat to the United States.
And I'm especially concerned about the travelers from China flights to US. I understand some screening were being conducted in major airports, and travelers from Wuhan were promptly quarantined, but this is far from enough. I highly recommend CDC take further measures to quarantine all the travelers from China once they enter the US airports. Because this pandemic is not only affecting city of Wuhan, but it’s wide spreading to the entire nation right now. Majority of provinces in China are under lockdown. Quarantine all people from the flight would be very costly but it would be more costly if any of those people spreads the disease. The incubation period of the virus could be 14 days before any symptoms are shown. Those infected could spread virus for 14 days before they have symptoms. It would be a public health disaster in US and cause billions of economic loss. I deeply appreciate your time and consideration, XXX
