A woman in the San Francisco Bay Area who became ill after returning from a trip to China has become the ninth person in the U.S. to test positive for a new virus, health authorities said Sunday. Within hours, two more cases of the virus were confirmed in San Benito county, just below Gilroy, bringing the total to 11. The first and second cases of the novel coronavirus were announced in Santa Clara County in the past three days but the two cases are not related, according to the county Public Health Department.

其实这是弯曲的好消息。无论你知道还是不知道，染病的人已经在那儿了。每发现一个染病的人，就终止了一个传染源。加州的防治系统至少是工作的。真正危险的其实是纽约，纽约的系统没有能力发现染病的人。病源可以继续传染下去。
好担心纽约 父母都在那天天坐地铁上下班...
最高危的是纽约法拉盛，那里中国全国各地的人都有（唐人街和其他几个华人社区基本是广东和福建人）。法拉盛脏乱，人口密度高，而且那边的华人很不注重卫生。。。诗人周末的帖子很有前瞻性。
