Problem is, living in the U.S. is more comfortable/enjoyable for some folks so they might want to stay in U.S. longer than 6 month per visit (for an example, stay for 12 months and go back for 6 months). You cannot do that with 10 year visa. Traveling across the pond is not easy for older folks, even in first class.

这个是针对医疗保险的，11月份生效，之前还有一个关于不能享受福利，以及按照教育，英语，年龄等打分移民的，那个是10/15生效
主要是怕万一被拒了，有了移民倾向，以后旅游签证都拿不到了。
这问的，哪儿能只有护照你给你移民？你自己是用护照就移民了吗？去移民版学习去吧/

公证需要本人。
各种资料都提供够了符合要求不可能被拒，就是个保险呗，你们能帮忙买就没问题，如果就是想吃福利，那杯具了自己承担咯。如果移民局还允许，就可以继续申请，更严格了而已。
可以委托代办的，不过麻烦一些，既然想给父母办应该提前就办好。
福利是不打算要的，就是担心现在是按照学历，英语和年龄打分来决定能否得到批准的，我们父母年龄大，英语不会，也没读过几年书。肯定会被拒吧？以后非移民签证也要被拒。

历史上的排华法案很大原因就是那些华人只是在美国挣钱寄回家，回国养老，不惜压低工资去挣钱， 别的什么都不管不顾，不像别的族裔把美国当做自己的家。。。

请问这个10月15号的截止日期，一般是指我寄出申请材料的邮戳日期，还是指得USCIS收到申请材料的日期？
我现在人在中国，材料还未收集齐全。只能争取在10月15号之前，用环球速递寄出了。

没想着用不该用的福利，只是觉得新政策要加多资料，太麻烦了，到时不敢保证材料都能收集齐不出问题
你怎么不去抢钱呢,你应该去找中国政府要人道,你父母在中国工作又没给美国做贡献, 美国纳税人凭什么帮你养父母,你要么去找中国政府,要么自己的父母自己出钱养.
