Sorry I don't have Chinese input. Both my son and my daughter had tongue tie, and both of them are not 舌系带连到舌尖了. Actually my son's tongue tie didn't got diagnosed until 11 weeks old, albeit breastfeeding was SO painful and traumatic to me..
My son got released when he was 11 weeks old, we didn't do anything special, and he was breastfed --so he got a lot of exercise during nursing. However I noticed his tongue tie re-scared when he was around 7 month old. But at that age, he was too old to be snipped by a pair of scissors, and the ENT doctor said we could either ignore it or have it released in a operation room under general anesthesia. So we ignored it.. But my son is 4.5 now, and he cannot lick an Ice Cream, and his tongue cannot touch the back of his upper front teeth while keep his mouth open. We may have to do another surgery to release his tongue tie sometime soon.
For my daughter, she had her tongue tie released when she was 5 days old. Simple snip, released about 8mm-ish. We didn't do anything special, beside breastfeeding. She is 1.5yrs old now, and her tongue has much more mobility than my son.
So my suggestion is, do the release as early as possible, do the stretch if that is not too much of struggle. That will save you a lot of trouble in the future, and it definitely worth it.
Your little one still could suck more and more efficiently even without release, since he/she gets older and more skilled, and tongue will be more powerful. Even after my son's tongue re-occurred, we still manage to breastfeed until he is 16-17 month old, without pain.
But you will need to be prepared that the pain will not completely go away immediately after tongue tie release, because your baby need to learn how to use the "new" tongue. He/she may still cannot suck very well because babies actually started to practice sucking months before being born. They already formed a sucking habit and that needs time to change.
Even for my daughter, it still took her almost 3 weeks to master the new skill.
This doesn't mean that the doctor will make a cut that is 6-7 mm long. They only make a small snip, like 1 mm-ish, and then they use their finger to push the frenulum all the way back to the root of tongue -- this could avoid over-cut, which may hurt the muscle.
The doctor will measure the place where of the frenulum is attached to the tongue before and after the procedure, and that distance is the 6-7mm they told you.
This is really a very very simple procedure, takes no more than 2 minutes starting from put your baby to the operation chair to finish. The special stretch is to prevent reoccur I believe.
