This is a simple math intervention where she will get pulled out of the classroom for 15 minutes a day during our WINN What I Need Now time. This program will run for 4 to 6 weeks to ensure students are proficient at the pre k learning standards and help them get ready for Kindergarten curriculum. After this time frame they will be reevaluated.

没太想明白,这是数学太差要补课? 可是才开学还是学的5以内的加法啊。

LOOKS LIKE I HAVE FRIEND HAVE KID HAS THE SAME CLASS, BUT SHE SAID HER DAUGHTER SAID IT IS FOR BETTER MATH KIDS.
问题是才开学3星期,才教数数和5以内的加法。 可她好歹多位数加减,乘法都是会了的,自我评估觉得提高班更合理。
要不就是screening的时候在神游。
既然学校提出来,那就让孩子去听听。家长也可以跟老师约个时间聊聊,看看问题出在哪里。或许补课的老师直接给推荐到拔高班了。记得版上有妈妈说过,多给孩子看看Ted Ed上的puzzle视频,比单纯的加减乘除更有助于提高。
