Just for discussion here: 1) On a job interview, how could one honestly say, I'm perfect for this job? The candidate doens't really know what it takes for that job. All you can tell is from the job posting. So here it really takes some courage and exaggeration to pass this msg: I am the perfect one! You'll have to convince youself first to convince them. So no matter you believe it or not, at least sound like you belive it. 2) I found Job posting are often exaggerating. (Heels MM can probabaly comment from the HR expert perspective.) Every job posting sound like they require someone so perfect that most people in the field would not qualify. The words used are very biiiiiig. But after you work there for a while, if you re-exam you co-workers with the job requirements, you'll now understand what those big words really mean. Then you'll realize, to that standard, I am the perfect candidate.
admire you, heels mm. I will be a manager very soon. However, my poor English is disappointing... I will train myself in this aspect like what you did.
What do you mean you have only been here for four years?! You are kidding! You don't have any accent at all!" 。。 I have been here for approximately 8 years, but everyone can notice that I am a foreigner when I speak... If I do not get promoted this year, that must be my English dragging my feet.
To be honest,in this world, title means nothing. One of most important factor is your salary. Titles are so different from company to company, with huge gaps between a Fortune 500 company and a small-size company. How much you earn is the hard measure here, as companies always follow industry standards I do not know why you guys want to dig for these information. People like you should go to be CIA for your excellent talent.
Can't agree more. My supervisor was the controller with his previous employer, but now, he's just one of the thousands managers in a Fortune 100 company. He is probably making same amount of money as he did before, if not higher.
Apparently, LZ mm is very proud of what she's doing and what she's achieved. I don't think there is anything about it. She has every reason to be proud of herself. However, considering many Huaren MMs are still at school and knowing little about corporate world, throwing out a big title like Director of HR without defining it, does seem to me a little misleading.
wow, it is admirable. i think some people do have talent in learning new languages. i am jealous of people who can speak great english in quite short time.
It is called HR Manger in my company (also a one-person department).
Our HR manager is a 22 year old fresh graduate from college. The old manager trained her for two months and retired, then she was on her own for everything...
Usually those one-person department managers manage "issues", not "people".
FAINT。

What do you mean you have only been here for four years?! You are kidding! You don't have any accent at all!" 。。

I do not understand why you care....
Can HR ask this kind of questions?

good points!

这。。。

Funny hiring manager...got married in several month?.....
