If your income is over $1,000,000 (married) or $500,000 (other) Your AMT changes are too complex to estimate here...
Eitherway, she is a few 10ks or more worse. 怎么就不相信很多人会worse off under the new tax plan?

Fewer families will have to pay the individual AMT: The AMT for individuals started in 1969 as a way to prevent rich families from using so many credits and loopholes to lower their tax bill to almost nothing. But what started out as a way to prevent the wealthiest Americans from tax dodging started to hit more and more families over time. The AMT kicks in now for individuals earning over $120,700 and married couples earning over $160,900. Under the final Senate bill, that threshold is lifted to $500,000 for individuals and $1 million for married couples.

Senate Bill
Single
Rate Taxable Income Bracket
10% 0 to $9,525
12% $9,525 to $38,700
22% $38,700 to $82,500
24% $82,500 to $157,500
32% $157,500 to $200,000
35% $200,000 to $500,000
37% $500,000 and up
Married couples who file jointly:
Rate Taxable Income Bracket
10% 0 to $19,050
12% $19,050 to $77,400
22% $77,400 to $165,000
24% $165,000 to $315,000
32% $315,000 to $400,000
35% $400,000 to $600,000
37% $600,000 and up

[quote]
Marriage penalty
Everything equal

If your income is over $1,000,000 (married) or $500,000 (other)
Your AMT changes are too complex to estimate here...
Eitherway, she is a few 10ks or more worse.
怎么就不相信很多人会worse off under the new tax plan?

Single
联邦政府只有权在after state tax income上收税。
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.theatlantic.com/amp/article/361668/
Senate Bill
