我们Harry Potter 看到最后一本了，然后那本书还特别厚，嫌拿着累，就不看了。我也不知道他看懂多少，估计只囫囵看个大概，倒是把那些咒语都记住了。还有一套Warriors 的书，主角是猫，看了十几本然后审美疲劳不看了。这两套书同时在听audio book. 现在在看Percy Jackson , 还有一套运动主题的Matt Christopher的书。

It has been almost a month. Now it is kind of settling into a routine: 1. Reading: at least 1 hour a day. The reading time is spreading around during the day: before going to bed, after waking up and arriving home. The only homework is reading for 15 minutes a day.
2. Choir: learned how to make eggs and a simple salad last week. Will make more salad and apple sauce this coming week.
3. math: we do project based: one question/game each time, for example selling lottery tickets and find out why it is hard to win. I use Singapore math to test her level. If she can do and explain questions such as additions with in 1000, then I will not ask her to do the repetitive questions follows.
4. self learning: coursera, Ted talk, totally interests based. Doing this after finishing homework.

the Singapore math grade 2 is pretty simple. You can check the website to see the content. If your boy can read, then he doesn't need grade 1 books.
