About the Role and Team The Tax Associate provides compliance services for numerous hedge fund and investment partnership clients consisting of a variety of investment strategies and fund structures, including domestic and offshore side-by-side entities, master-feeder structures and fund-of-funds. The Associate will research tax implications of complex financial transactions and prepare memorandums and opinion letters for clients and colleagues summarizing results as it relates to international, federal, state and local tax law. Responsibilities include reviewing of partnership economic and tax allocations using either the aggregate or layering methodologies and handling special projects as needed. Job Duties in Brief
