If you see people are coming in and out, take a picture just in case you need to present evidence in future.

谢谢回复，HOA policy上有rental的规定，但没有细说到airbnb，得给hoa打电话。全新装修后airbnb...感觉这投资房也太亏了，一个月只有几天有人住。

You may not right. Airbnb has very good income compared to long-term rental. In NY, Bay area, there are new laws just passed to limit the airbnb because Airbnb strongly impacted the business of hotel. You saw the neighbor's daily price, then you can calculate how many days they will get the rental of one year back.
