12/16给在加州的父母和亲戚寄了一个包裹的圣诞礼物,用了priority Mail,收据上写着预期12/23号到达。虽然觉得好像不应该这么久,但是反正节前能收到,也就算了。22号tracking 是到了离我父母家大约1小时车程的地方, 心想应该没问题了。 结果23号没收到,24号也没有, 包裹还在那个地方,25号肯定不会送了, 那无奈只好等26号看看,还是没有,包裹状态也没更新。发Email给USPS自然没下文, 打电话全是机器回答,无论你选什么,最后总归要问你Tracking#,随后就给你包裹现在的状态回到原点。不甘心上网查攻略怎么才能找到一个真人的CS,再打终于有人回答了。还是用Tracking#查状态告诉你。 我说这个包裹在那里已经5天, 一直没更新,说好的23号呢?答曰除了Priority express, 其他邮递方式不保证什么时候送达, 收据上只是给个大概的时间。 我说好吧,你迟送我也算了,但是你你能告诉我 这个包裹要呆在那里到底多久,啥时候才能送出去?答曰,不知道, 送了才知道,已经到了Local,他们也做不了什么。我说那你告诉我到底谁能解决这个问题, 如果到年底还是收不到,收件人要去Travel,这个包裹就没办法送到了呀。 对方说,对不起,我理解,但我没办法。你愿意就跟你接我的Manager,等了差不多20分钟话之后, 还是车轱辘话, 他们解决不了, 等吧。。。。 今早再查更新状况, 要吐血了: The package is delayed and will not be delivered by the expected delivery date. call usps at exact 8:00 am EST when the machine works down the menu, don't answer it. always say "agent" you will be transferred to the customer service after less than ten "agent" answers open a case with them.
I opened a case in November. The addressee's post office contacted me the first. The package was successfully delivered one day later. I called USPS to close the case. I was told cases can't be closed, and they can only leave a note to tell any future agent to ignore the case. Three days later my post office contacted me. I told them the package was delivered and asked customer service to close the case already.
not true. I usually ask them to help me file a case if a priority package has no update for two days, first-class package has no update for four days, during non-holiday season. I filed four cases during past two months. All resolved well. For postal incidents, the sooner you bring their attention the better.
Did you under-estimate the weight of your package? If not, I think it was just misrouted. If there is another reason that the package is returned, you should call USPS ASAP, an agent can look into internal scans for you. Internal scans usually can tell the reason for a package to be returned.
