As “moderate” Ohio Governor John Kasich continues to remain in the Republican race, his PAC “New Day for America” just received a major donation that’s raising eyebrows among conservatives.
George Soros, who has spent billions of dollars creating and funding far-left organizations such as MoveOn.org, ACORN, and countless pro-amnesty organizations. After donating countless amounts of money to Congressional Democrats, Soros just handed a pro-Hillary Clinton PAC $8 million.

Since Soros is a far left liberal, one has to ask why would Soros give funds to a republican? I am sure he doesn’t want a republican to win since that would undermine his agenda of promoting more socialistic policies. It appears that Soros wants Kasich to stay in the race to add confusion to the republican campaign in the hope it will benefit democrats. By giving to Kasich, Soros hopes to secure a democratic victory in the belief that Kasich may have a better chance of defeating either Hillary or Sanders. He is betting that the democrats can defeat either Trump or Cruz but not Kasich who is more moderate. If that is Soros’s plan, it will backfire. Either Cruz or Trump can defeat the democrats since their base has been split similar to the republicans. In fact, there appears to be enough democrats who will not vote for either Hillary or Sanders but who will vote for Trump.
