If EU wants to keep fighting against Russia and try to win over it, fine, just do it. But don't expect US will support that unconditioanlly. US simply wants to cease fire and end the war.
If USA lost its rivalry with China, then all your mentioned interests like the dominance of USD will lose. Trump might have done something wrong, but his main goal is correct. US must focus her target on China, and defeat China. And this point is commonly agreed upon within both parties. Only China poses a big challenge to the United States, and Russia is not qualified, but its very strong military power cannot be used to aid China, or it'll be a disaster to US.
BTW, from the geopolitical perspective, Ukraine is not US's core interests, but Taiwan is. That's one of the key reasons why US will withdraw her main military forces from Europe and apply them to Asia-Pacific, and Taiwan's safety is extremely critical.

Philippine has recently canceled military contracts with U.S. and signaled their hospitality with China just because the U.S. has become unreliable, unpredictable and untrustable under Trump.
