If Taiwanese independence succeeded, then Chai English will be a heroine in Taiwan history. Otherwise she will be cursed for a while like all other bad guys in Chinese history. And she will be cursed with other so called "Han Jian" by Chinese people for maybe 10 to 20 years I think.

据NTDTV报道，蔡英文出访中美洲友邦过境美国纽约。大批“爱国华侨”去举牌抗议。不料文化素质欠佳，标语上连成语“数典忘祖”都写错。
蔡英文日前从台湾启程出访中美洲友邦危地马拉和贝里斯，展开了10天9夜的“民主伙伴共荣之旅”。29日蔡英文过境美国纽约，下榻曼哈顿中城乐天酒店 ( Lotte New York Palace )。
现场有不少台湾民众手举中华民国国旗欢迎蔡英文的到来，同时也有大批亲中共的华人社团召集华人和留学生集结在酒店外举牌“抗议”。
推特上流传出那些老少海外华人抗议蔡英文现场的短视频和照片，显示有华人高举的抗议标语竟然把成语“数典忘祖”错写成了“忘典数祖”，成为海内外的笑话谈资。
前“八九民运”学生领袖王丹在其脸书上转发了相关照片，并发帖隔空喊话：“现场抗议蔡英文总统过境纽约的各位，你们帮帮忙不要这麽丢脸好吗？那叫『数典忘祖』，不是『忘典数祖』好吗？没事你数你的祖宗干嘛啊？连中国成语都用错，你们才真的是数典忘祖呢”。
