如果报考古专业是不是更容易（反正私校可以改专业）
见这几个回答，我觉得已经说的比较明白了：
“it won’t make a difference in choosing one major over another because you think not a lot of people aren’t taking that major.”
“your extra curriculars etc would need to show that you are actually interested in the major you're applying under. AOs know all the tricks and will see right though you if you don't submit a genuine application.”
“USC literally constantly warns against doing that. They’re not stupid, and loads of people try it. It brings 0 advantages and makes you work double. Don’t do it.”
“if you have all cs ecs and then you apply as an arabic major, that WOULD NOT help. In fact it might seem like you're trying to game the system.”

还有物理方面，应该不是热门
跟初等数学都有关系
但是这样硬靠，总觉得没啥用
还不如说自己不知道想学啥
如果CS Ec不强的话，不是建议，是嘀咕
就跟工程学院也有鄙视链啊..
EE和ME算最难的.
土木工程和工业工程算容易的.
我估计BME省了很多流体力学,热血动力学这些工程类weed out的课..
其实我想过娃的USACO银要是十一年级变不成金的话是不是还不如不提？
这是私校最吸引我的地方，可惜跟州大比太贵了
一般都是CFO决定公司用那些财务软件或是ERP.所以IT的功能是买这些ERP,维护和训练公司各个部门都会用它的软件或是interface.
而business analysis其实就是名字叫得好听一点的IT部门而已.
IT部门又不完全是做编程,甚至可能都没有码工.
太难进了。大部分申请的都是工程专业。
但申请材料不能太离谱。
看到过一个小留进了S的，就是从九年级开始去希腊夏校，学拉丁语，去S人文夏校拿教授推荐信，做相关研究EC，等等。别管多钻营，没有一点兴趣，光拉丁语一项也不容易学好。所以还是得有点才能才走得了这条路。同时就没时间精力做CS和数竟的EC了啊。所以都是看人挑担，光看见小留吃肉，没看见爬不上S的小留的机会成本。
我还是比较实用主义的：孩子高中参加的课外活动也是希望能为以后的学习/事业发展有所助力。放下实用的EC专门为爬藤参加课外活动其实风险更大，应该是家里有矿才能有这个魄力吧。
能靠艺术爬上藤的孩子又能有几个？天赋，努力和家庭的支持缺一不可。
学拉丁语,因为比较偏门,学了参加拉丁文竞赛,大概容易拿大奖吧..
我家只能结合自家具体情况,俺家孩子四肢比较发达,可能会走体育之路.
哪怕是传说中的小众体育运动，都有大把大把的亚裔孩子（无论男女）。艺术和学术类的活动就别提了，亚裔绝对的dominant。
