Our neighbor's son was accepted by MIT, but was rejected by UIUC CS. He wrote a love letter to UIUC, and asked them why he was rejected. UIUC sent the adminition letter right away. Eventually, he went to standford in RD.

没有大奖。所有AP 5分。AIME 5次。Club captains。Research本校加NCSU。社区服务300～400小时。
物理、数学、化学、CS课，在高中生里应该算是又多又难的了，具体不再重复了。
由此可见，GPA/标考毫无用处。
也可能是中了富爹的curse

这么好的成绩居然不要！难道他家不是州大? 州大应该很喜欢成绩这么好的娃的呀！！！
我对GTech原本的好印象一下子没了...........
没想到牛高这末难。
要不等RD USC吧， 明年面筋找师哥去
他申请的regular. 他的成绩我不知道，肯定远远赶不上小猪。
他妈妈是spanish, 有点加分吧。
成绩多好我不是特别清楚，但艺术特长，录了GT CS。感觉GT有点不把自己定位成公校......
不过州大一样出英雄，娃的成功不由大学define. 过来四年，不好说谁强谁弱。
人生就是长跑，坚持下来就是胜利。身边一堆美藤国藤，基本与州大无区别。
下面两年顾及到GPA，应该也不会去选修了，除非pass or non pass。
我也注意到这几年变化好快，CS收生急转直下，4年前和现在招收情况就差很远，而且只会每年加剧。你反正也有自家州大保底，不用担心。
