Not sure the situation inside 沃顿; but the kids outside
Wharton felt very arkward, like being the second classes on campus-- one girl in engineering major in our town ended in transferring out to another school (maybe the girl too senstitive?).
of course, every kid needs to learn to be tough-- might be a good opportunity to meet and handle the challenging, if there is one.
If she is sensitive to her peers, Wharton is not for her
However, Wharton has unbeatable resources for her growth (for example, communication and leadership trainings) in there and beyond. My son told me his medical school interviews substantially benefits from his Wharton's education.

There are also competition from Penn non-Wharton.
But competition makes one better, right? Most time it does, sometimes it burns.

I am not aware of this "非沃顿的学生一直想往沃顿转"--
I only coincidently knew one girl who was in Penn here
Again: students outside Wharton are indeed the second class in the school-- period!
There are competitions and there are collaborations.
2021_Wharton_Career_Plans_Survey_Report.pdf (uconnectlabs.com)
139/572 = 24%, trading + security research = 30,
PE, investment management, VC = 22+22+8 = 52
"students outside Wharton are indeed the second class in the school-- period!"
Penn
我的课也有peer grading, 没有这种限制,发现一个组互相都给A的,往往是很团结,项目做的不错的组,不会有stab each other in the back 的情况。
