I think you could start small like a state park to get experience, then search for a specific park you prefer, usually info available in spring, but you could summit an application early, sometimes there is a waitlist. After you get in touch with them, you could call them or email them for more info or terms. I've never done a camp host, sorry don't know the specific requirements.
