We have had several cases where well known sealants from Halfords and others have been added by the car's owner and subsequently the heater runs cold.

的话，会有明显痕迹，通过查地面和Engine bay 可以轻松查找，而且大漏也无法坚持7千迈/8个月；
如果是小漏，最好是在外圈，比如在水箱体，管路，水泵，各个接头，只是单纯的渗漏，难在确定位置，有条件的可以通过加低压或加染色剂测定；
最麻烦是渗漏出在内圈，包括Heat core和发动机里，前者不方便查，而后者俗称窜缸，缸垫破损至冷却液在缸头处渗漏并进入Oil passage, 会引发机油污染，水乳交融，降低机油润滑效果，进而损伤发动机，症状是机油呈奶昔状，而水箱包括reservoir 里有油花，尾气有大量白气，有以上一种症状就基本可确诊。需拆缸头换缸垫彻底解决。
所以确诊是首要的，而且是重中之重；否则车铺有可能今天换个件看看，明天再换个其他的，没完没了！

这问题可小可大， 小的问题几块几十快搞定。 大问题可以是修理费超过车的价值。

另外一般coolant缺失报警，常会伴有引擎过热。需格外小心。
如果是同样的问题，可以自己换air bleeder hose。如果不愿意自己买air bleeder hose自己换的话，还是尽早找专业人员解决。
好像Volvo有关于air bleeder hose的service ticket. 可以查查，问问。也许dealer 可以免费修理。

不要自己去修。修车铺一看是女的就狮子大开口，开启开宰模式。 另外，一旦车开始坏了，其它的零件寿命也差不多了，其它的零件也很可能该换了。你可以考虑换新车。在美国修车很贵。其实开新车更省钱和省心。
