2台完全相同引擎(2GR一FE,但ES要求91号汽油,而SUV仅要87号),ES经常91 + 93; 而SUV则87 + 93。两车16年以来都不见冒蓝烟烧机油,3.5 ~4 K迈换油时也从不怎么缺油,感觉动力依然十足,因此长期使用稍贵的Shell汽油好像有了点pay back。
固然,老车目前还没冇老化到油渍满目、积碳烧油,也不是仅仅因为用了一点V-Power就是灵丹妙药,其它因素包括是自然吸气还是高功率涡轮增压;是勤换全合成机油还是省事省力可不换油尽量不换;是代步工具还是下工地拖重物…

至于用什么机油,只要是合格的产品,问题都不大。但尽量不要用过。勤一些换油,是最好保险。那些把合成油用满一年的,甚至完全靠,甚至纠结于车的机油换油提示灯的用户,总是给人如履薄冰的感觉。车都有里程表,换油的时候记一下,差不多里程或时间到了就勤观察一下,到了换油即可。

16年了,最近发动机里面加了德国的Liqui-Moly积碳清洗剂(“力魔”是听头条介绍的,国内迷信舶来品),run 150 miles后换油,据说可以去除活塞环积碳,换出的油是比较黑(但是17万英里以来车子从未冒过蓝烟,因此很难确定效果如何):

Not in my cars after 11K and 17K miles. Runs as smooth as silk. All the spark plugs replaced looked perfectly normal.
They called for premium for the reason of selling the car as luxury car. As long as my engine doesn't ping it's perfetly fine.

汽油标号是抗震能力,跟清洁能力完全不搭边。
简单来说,高压缩比的气缸需要高标号。Period。
