The contact stated while driving 30 MPH, the vehicle started to shudder and jerk while the vehicle accelerating at speeds of 45 MPH or above. The contact took the vehicle to a local dealer who diagnosed the failure as torque converter shudder. The contact was informed that the torque converter needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 109,555.

2013年的Camry, 10万迈了。最近起动加速时，有时会停顿一下(jerking)，有点吃力的赶觉，只好慢着加油。高速加速时一切正常。换了OEM的spark plugs, 和清洗了一下MAF sensor 和throttle body. 对了还加过2，3次fuel inject cleaner，但没有什么改进。请问各位大神还有什么可以检查或修理？想去autozone scan 一下，能不能查出什么code出来。没有check engine light，也不知道能不能查出什么error code来。在此先谢谢了！

当时想要包换filter还差不多。如果只是drain and refill就想DIY. 当时也看了很多YouTube. 想拆cover换filter，但是有一个锣丝被横梁挡住了，很麻烦。
Genuine 过滤芯（带gasket）：
本人2008 LEXUS ES350，6AT变速箱，约每4-6万英里换原厂ATF WS fluid，10多万英里时第一次拆下油底壳换过滤芯，但见许多金属粉末，有点后悔没有早点换过滤芯（虽然还是比较smooth）。
拆油底壳不是很容易，几个螺丝卸的空间比较小：
油底壳放油螺丝拿下后，里面还有一根红颜色的塑料管是设定油液高度的，加新油时，在适当的温度时（95-113 F, 冷车发动车几分钟可以大概到这个温度）油到这个位置时就会逸出放油孔，indicating full：
10万多英里的变速箱，使用 drain and fill 比较安全；不建议使用机器循环作彻底更换油液，否则可能弄巧成拙。

但是这个不是recall，而是8年extended warranty，一年半前过期了。所以要近$3000 来修理。想打电话去丰田客服看看能不能cover。不知道各位有没有这方面的经验？

可以通过换新油以及过滤芯得以缓解。有的网路视频介绍自己重力换变速箱油，模拟“循环”法，即连续不断加油-运转-放油，以清洁变速箱内部。（不建议直接使用机器循环）
当然，换变速箱的扭力鼓是直截了当的解决方案：

不管现在的torque converter还能不能继续用，Dealership当然愿意客户花钱更换大件。如果现象刚刚发生，也许精细更换transmission fluid即可继续使用，但dealership不会费时间且take risk, 换整件最好，即便是换同样有问题的torque converter也能继续运行很多年，之后就没有之后了。反正dealership更换的相对较短warranty期限内基本不会再出现同样的问题。
该变速箱传动对油液要求很细致，不能有太多容错，再看看那关于换transmission fluid十几页的维修手册, 明显就是不希望个人用户DIY的。
如果有时间的话可以欣赏一下Toyota的换液方式，
视频里Toyota的工具还是比较不便宜的。亚马逊上有类似但稍简洁的类似的工具。

ES里程上去了，去dealer问能否换6 AT自动变速箱油？“不用换”给打发了。无奈只能自己摸黑换油。

干净而产生其他的问题。所以有人使用人工“重力”模拟“循环”法换油，油量up to 12 qt.

丰田7代凯美瑞这个问题上市不久就有客户反映了，好像是普遍印象，好像没有recall，有客上门户反应才处理。估计不少人还冤大头的以为是变速箱换挡的正常印象。
