Choosing to attend a women's college is a very personal decision. My older kid was awarded The Scripps College Presidential Scholarship five years ago and she really liked the 5C, but ultimately she chose to attend CMU for 2 reasons: (1) Academically, CMU is more vigorous than Scripps. (2) My wife felt that all-girls schools had their own limitations, based on her own experience of attending an all-girls high school ( 臺北市立第一女子高級中學 (北一女) in Taiwan).

The highly-ranked Vassar College used to be a women's college but has become co-ed (currently about 60% female , 40% male).
