So he took one year language each in what his school offers - Spanish, Chinese, etc. He named it exploration.
When the time came for applying for college, we thought he was probably at great disadvantage.
But what is the heck? Nothing could be done at that point.
I asked him which college he liked, and he went ahead to apply to his dream college. He got in!
Maybe AO saw so many kids with great ECs and everything, his lack of planning stood out? LOL.
But the requirements do not seem to be rigid
