APAD: "Nature is the purest portal to inner-peace"

Nature is the purest portal to inner peace” is a quote by Angie Weiland-Crosby that means connecting with nature can help people find inner peace.

Inner peace, also known as peace of mind or inner calm, is a state of tranquility and self-compassion. People who experience inner peace may feel at ease, unruffled by worries, and have a sense of self-compassion.

Some say that to find inner peace, it's important to reduce noise in your head by turning off electronics and silencing your phone. Others suggest spending time in nature with an open heart and eyes

Facts:
- Human life: Modern humans (Homo sapiens) evolved approximately 200,000 to 300,000 years ago
- Plant life: Fossil evidence suggests plants first appeared on land around 500 million years ago, during the Cambrian period.
- Earth life:  the formation of Earth is estimated to be around 4.5 billion years ago.

So humans are newest addition to the animal world in Mother Nature (== 大自然).  But often than not we are so busy with our lives and troubles in lives, that we might forget and lose touch with Mother Nature.

In my life, I always feel the need to go among trees time by time, and feel like empty (rechargeable) battery gets charged by them each and every time.

Below is a beautiful poem and a few pictures I took (with iPhone) inside “Muir Woods” for you to enjoy.

Wish you all a peaceful Saturday!

"I Go Among Trees" - Wendell Berry

I go among trees and sit still.
All my stirring becomes quiet
around me like circles on water.
My tasks lie in their places
where I left them, asleep like cattle.

Then what is afraid of me comes
and lives a while in my sight.
What it fears in me leaves me,
and the fear of me leaves it.
It sings, and I hear its song.

Then what I am afraid of comes.
I live for a while in its sight.
What I fear in it leaves it,
and the fear of it leaves me.
It sings, and I hear its song.

After days of labor,
mute in my consternations,
I hear my song at last,
and I sing it. As we sing,
the day turns, the trees move.

1. The entrance

2. I'm flying with the tree

3. home work time (I couldn't AirDrop it to the Mother as there is no cell service)

4. can't have enough looking at the tree

5. Father and daugther among trees
