【One Idiom】Do the math, Do your homework

"Do the math", in many cases, it means that we should go through the details.

Similarly, "Do your homework", is probably telling that you are not well prepared and therefore should work on your task (mostly its background) more before seeking for help.

An interesting translation challenge from Chinese to English: 应无所住而生其心. Anyone would like to share your translation?
