The sun was dancing on the waves, above which seagulls were gliding along, breaking the air with their harsh cries, as if they were flying dinosaurs.

总体而言还是太长太啰嗦，但我想不出如何再精简了。
Version 2：
Like a silkworm's thread, long will my yearnings for you glitter bright
Like a candle's tears, only the end will make my welling eyes run dry
(or: Like a candle's tears, not till the end will my welling eyes run dry)
中译英做得越多，越觉得象 "吃一堑长一智 A fall in the pit, a gain in your wit" 那种对仗工整、合辙押韵中译英实在是太难了！
