【听歌练听力】Someone You Loved --Lewis Capaldi (答案及歌词中的Idioms解释更新）

On my way to work in the morning, I always listen to NPR news as my mind is very fresh. And if not rush, I echo the anchor's reading. On my way home in the evening, most of time I listen to the music channel to relax.

The following song "Someone you loved" is just like "the first hearing in love" (一听钟情）to me on my  way home when I listened to the music channel.  

I am impressed by the singer's singing. His different tones on his performance are just like different colors on the canvas, with each stroke coming from the bottom of his heart.

"Someone You Loved" is a song recorded by Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi. 

It was a commercial success, peaking at number one on the UK Singles Chart. The song became Capaldi's first number one single, spending seven consecutive weeks atop of the chart and was the best selling single of 2019 in the UK.

In an interview with the French magazine "Brut", Capaldi revealed he wrote the song about his grandmother who had passed away.[5] In an interview with NME, Capaldi revealed that it took him six months to write the song. He said, "A lot of people say that 'the best songs fall into your lap' and that they're the easiest ones to write and take the shortest amount of time: I wholeheartedly disagree with that. I think my best songs come from me sitting at a piano, bashing my head against a brick wall for hours and hours on end to get one good melody."[6]
