Traversed the Oceans to Sleep with You

I traversed a half of the globe
Across the mountains and the oceans
To sleep with you.
I heard the birds whisper among the green trees.
The earth is so beautiful and clean.

I write a long poem
In your silken long hair,
On your sweet and tender lips,
And on your smooth and fragrant breasts.
You croon its every word to heaven,
And entering into my heart.
The birds whisper among the green trees.
The earth is so beautiful and clean.

Outside the village,
By the breeze rippling river,
Beneath the weeping willows,
I sing you a song,
You sing it to me,
We sing it together.
The birds whisper among the green trees.
The earth is so beautiful and clean.
It is ever spring.
It is only in spring.

因为理解了这个问题，才能理解这首诗。长话短说，你把它理解为一个梦境重现，就像你（或者作者自己）在看电影里的回放镜头：翻山越岭、漂洋过海已经发生了，镜头里是主人公在写诗、在唱歌，鸟在啾鸣，草地是绿茵茵的。看这些回放镜头，你应该如何来描述（转述）画面里的情景呢？是不是要用现在时，并且生动？ He write; She croon; Birds whisper; The earth is ...就像你是画外音转述给听众。

诗中反复的"鸟在树林间呢喃，大地是如此美丽干净”，还有最后两句“这是永远的春天，这只是在春天”，点明了诗的深层主题：那些至真至美，只能是在不可夹杂不干净的东西、在有美好外在环境和纯洁的内心的时候，才能发生的和出现的，也是受时间限制的，美是有时令的。那些生命中的至真至美才真正并永远温暖一个人的灵魂，无论春夏秋冬。

表面上，这首诗歌写的是性爱，可它不是性爱，体现的是一个更深层的主题：海外华人特别是第一代移民，他们的诗与远方，他们的向往追求与努力拼搏。纸段话长，以后有机会另谈。

我穿越半个地球，
跨过群山和海洋，
来睡你。
我听见鸟儿在绿树林中呢喃。
大地是如此美丽干净。
这是春天。
这只是在春天。

在你丝滑的长发中，
在你甜蜜柔嫩的嘴唇上，
在你光润芬芳的乳房上。
你低吟浅唱每句诗行在天堂回荡，
也进入我的心房。
鸟儿在绿树林中呢喃。
大地是如此美丽干净。
这是春天。
这只是在春天。

小村外，
微风荡漾的河边，
垂柳的下面，
我唱一首歌给你听，
你唱它给我听，
我们一起唱这首歌。
