This has been the best year of my life, 2020 stareted off RUFF. In January I got 10 more teeth removed, rendering me functionally toothless. It's fine though because I got wet mush to eat for a few weeks after that. To make up for my tiny defenseless maw, I have become more of a vicious gremlin than ever, snapping and snarling at the least provocation. I must PROTEC, and sometimes ATTAC.
In March something amazing happened: the humans stopped going to work. They are at home with me all day as I snooze in a sunbeam and bark at other dogs in the park. They seemed streessed and scared and now they wear muzzles when they go outside, which is weird, but everything looks the same to me. And now I get pets and walks anytime I want! 2020 rules!
Mom is still showing human body parts to a screen several days per week, so I assume she still has her job. Dad, I'm not sure; he rarely changes out of pajamas, falls asleep in the middle of the day, and almost never leaves the house, like me. Mom is still my best friend, and dad sometimes gets in between us. I do not like it when dad APPROACH me when I am with mom, glued to her iliac crest. When I'm with mom and dad APPROACH, I ATTAC.
In April a new housemate moved in and I did not trust him. I showed him I am the biggest dog by bitting him every day. I later discovered that this massive biped is my new brother Sage. Sage lives in the backyard. This is fine because I get to go out with him a lot. He drops food scrapes and I like that.
In the summer I had a foster sister live at the house for a month. Her name was Lupine. She was a better behaving dog at first, but we eventually partners in crime. I taught her how to poop in the house and YELL at the mailman like I do. (Thanks to this defense, he has never once entered the house.) Lupine got wet food though, which was very unfair. I would steal her food when she wasn't looking. One day Lupine left and never came back, which is fine because it means more food and pets for me.
Sometimes in the summer, my parents stareted talking about visiting "Jellystone". I don't know what this meant, but a few weeks later, mom and dad disappeared for 10 days. It would have been sad, but I got to stay with Uncle Koller and he is the best. Also, Aunt Erin was there. She is ok; I like to bite her sometimes.
The only new trick I learned this year was pooping in the garage. My parents don't find it until it is old and desiccated, much like I am. I continue to smell like expired nacho cheese Doritos that have been left out in Monterey fog. I am still burping and farting consistently, disgustingly, and without warning. I spend hours every day licking my stench all over my body. Sometimes when the side gate is left open, I go into the park by myself and have to be retrieved by the neighbors.
In closing: I WON 2020, BY A LOT!
2020 was great but I didn't get to see as many humans as I would like. The only thing that could make 2021 better is getting to hear from you all! Sometimes during 2021, write me and let me know what you're up to, what tricks you're learning, and what snacks you're having!

What a great imagination! Your friend has clearly described Marley's experiences in 2020 from his/her perspectives! Your speech is perfect!
I thought it's really cute to summarize 2020 from a puppy's point of view:)
