一月中旬，租 HomeDepot truck，用了GEICO 保险。运一个家具，发生车祸，我是全保，我叫了警察，报告了Geico, 三月底Geico打电话说，delined to pay damage of home depot truck, because the truck I rented from home depot was not pick up truch, was flatbed. I was shocked, and reviewed the rent agreement with homedepot, and saw "flatbed" on home depot page.
Totally comfused, first time know this word "flatbed" and googled online. The truck I rented looks like pick up truck, have four side edge.
During this two months, I Guess Geico and Home Depot argued back and forth (Nobody contact me, both side). Talked to supervior of Geico, he said Geico will not change any decision. Flatbed was not Pick up. (Geico only cover for passage car, pick up, van etc). So Geico will not pay damage of truck. Geico paid other car damage etc.
Now car insurance from home depot side sent me bill. What can I /Should I do now?
樓主租的truck有可能生產和註冊時是屬於comercial use vehicle。樓主的insurance沒有cover comercial vehicle。所以保險公司拒絕理賠。保險公司條款太複雜了。所以我每次租車都寧願花extra的費用購買租車行的保險。whatever happens，I just walk away。出事了也不會增加我的保費。

感觉Geico太扯了，他们 interpretatation flatbed 不是 pickup， 我就陷入深渊了。
感觉 Home Depot 的truck 也是太可笑了，我们去租车拉家具，他们根本都没推销我们买保险，直接问我们有车吗？有保险吗？直接就把我们GEICO的保险就写上去了。我们也认为租车，Geico可以cover。
现在车祸已经发生快3个月了，收到巨额账单，怎么办？找谁去争取。非常感谢你们的建议，如果你们有这方面的知识和经验。
最后也提醒大家，租车之前，要问清楚你们的保险公司，coverage。

HD给你发bill，你死活不付，他们最终能干什么？告你而已。一旦告你，你就可以讲理了。

请教一下，他的“理”是什么呢？虽然很同情，但估计是我，我也想不出可以死死咬住的理。你自己的保险，自己都不清楚（当然我也是第一次听说），怎么能指望HD知道呢？

就算不出意外, 退还车后也不用担心他们以后寄单来胡乱收费, 到时是有理说不清.
真是 省了好多麻烦.
