It reminds me another idiom "feather one's nest" which I just
learned not long ago when I had a team meeting. After I mentioned that one of our satellite offices just hired a few more people in the past week, one colleague responded "someone is feathering his nest.“
Today I read an interesting article online, the article concluded the idea that you are a reflection of the 5 people you spend the most time with.
“Nobody creates themselves, by themselves. We are all mirror images, sculpted through the reflections we see in other people.”
Is this like a old Chinese saying: 物以类聚 人以群分？ There is a similar phrase in English: Birds of a feather flock together.
Who are the 5 people I spend the most? I’ll give you my thoughts tomorrow:)
