看到楼下Eric的帖子，我现在就有一个eviction case，租客是买房是带的，lease到期，我们不和她续约，她赖着不走，所以我们找了律师eviction，法庭判了她搬走，但是在十天之内她可以appeal，然后她去appeal并要求jury trial，现在等了三个月还没等到开庭日是哪天，但是租客需要每月向法庭交bond，律师费我这边已经付了4000，case在北卡charlotte。
因不是被告不交上诉期的租金就是没有补足高院需要的材料（地方庭判决）
不过，我问过律师，这种上诉即使交钱和补足材料，最后高院再安排hearing 的机率也是不到10%,因为高院审核了下地方庭的判决，没有疑点的话，就不会再纠缠下去了。
这种民事纠纷，法官听证，直接就判了。哪有钱jury trial.

我是Union county
带威胁搬走了。我就没出庭，等于放弃了对他的eviction。最后一个月房租等于是用security deposit抵了，我的损失是房间的damage，除了地板，其他还好不算严重，地板/地毯本身就很差了，两年前就应该换的没换，硬是撑了两年。这次我花了一天清洁换地板租出去了。我在Charlotte呆的时间一共48小时。
对方是穷人，政府应该有免费律师提供给她。这个房子租金一个月还不到一千，所以我也不着急，慢慢等吧，迟早都能赶出去的.
