The public choice schools in Washington are lottery based so anyone in the school district can apply and it is based on chance to get in. Those schools are all very good and have high requirements for acadmics, so not every child can survive in those schools.
Interestingly not all people are interested in those choice schools. Asians and Whites count for probably 90% of the students. The graduation rate is 100% and every year many students go to best colleges. This year for one high school with 143 students: 3 MIT (2 chinese 1 indian), 2 caltech (1 white 1 indian), 1 standford(Chinese), 44 UW.

university system has removed English and Math test required for graduation from college. because it is "unfair" to latino. Soon they will say all ATS, ACT... tests are unfair, the university enrollment should based on the population%, sounds very "fair"
