The grooves you carve half a mile long in gray scale major and minor flat and sharp sing chord and dischord born ages ago from the colored waves from your fingers combing through my black hair and the sparks that blind my eyes
The grooves you carve wind in my cortex wrinkled and fissured deep and shallow The grooves you carve sing eternally although you vanish with the sapphire stylus
"wrinkled and fissured": how about "wrinkled and twisted"? Any fissure would be paralyzing, if not fatal. I know this is a poem, not neuroscience. Overall, it reads very nice. I thought you had a typo, gray, and then realize you are in UK.
The grooves you carve
The grooves you carve
half a mile long
in gray scale
major and minor
flat and sharp
sing chord and dischord
born ages ago
from the colored waves
from your fingers combing through my black hair
and the sparks that blind my eyes
The grooves you carve
wind in my cortex
wrinkled and fissured
deep and shallow
The grooves you carve
sing eternally
although you vanish with the sapphire stylus
