To be honest, I feel that it is during the pandemic that I understand the significance of this sentence“Health entrusted, Lives confided.”
When I faced the previously unknown, a life-threatening Covid virus，as a health care worker, I fought on the front line without hesitation and with insufficient PPE(personal protective equipments), asking patients about their medical symptoms, doing physical exams and treating them. During the peak case period, 80% of my patients were Covid ones. Because there were too many covid patients and the hospital ran under high load, working overtime had become common.
When I felt a little uncomfortable in my throat, I was very nervous. I got up at 2:00am to treat myself. I was grateful that I figured out a way to protect myself. My parents in China were very worried. I just slightly mentioned my work and dared not tell them that I have treated Covid patients face to face for several months. I was very effective with them.
At that time, I read the oath "Health entrusted, Lives confided" again. It made my heart full of strength.
Each coin has two sides. Every issue has two sides. Always look at the sunny side. In the early morning, on the way to work, there were no more traffic jams on the highways, which were once called the "high-speed parking lots". At that time, I felt that I was so important because there were so many patients who needed my help. "Save one's life and win the seventh-level Buddha statue. 救人一命，胜造七级浮屠" I feel that there is nothing more sacred and noble than curing diseases and saving people's lives.

我感觉我是在Covid期间更深刻的意识到这句话的内涵的：“健康所系，性命相托”--- 当初作为医学生穿上白大褂第一天宣读的誓言。
最初在面对这样一个前所未知，PPE不足，染上之后会有失去生命危险的病毒，作为医务工作者，我们必须义无反顾奋斗在第一线，给病人询问病情，做physical exam，高峰时期，我每天百分之八十的病人都是Covid的病人。因为病人太多，医院高负荷运转，加班便成了家常便饭。我自己喉咙稍微感觉不舒服，就很紧张，会凌晨两点起来吃药，好在也琢磨出一套保护自己的办法。爸妈朋友们都非常担心，对朋友们自然是说实话，但是对父母，我都会轻描淡写，根本不敢告诉他们自己早就亲自救治了Covid病人。
那时再次领悟“健康所系，性命相托”，心中会充满了的力量。
凡事一分为二，那就看阳光的一面。清晨，去上班的路上，曾被称为“高速停车场”的Highway，再也没有堵车。那时觉得自己好重要，因为有那么多生死未卜的病人需要自己的力量去救治。救人一命，胜造七级浮屠。自己就觉得没有什么比治病救人更神圣崇高了。
