In a large bowl, beat the cookie dough, flour and extract until smooth. Divide dough in half; mix food coloring into one portion.
Shape 1 teaspoon of white dough into a 6-in. rope. Shape 1 teaspoon of red dough into a 6-in. rope. Place ropes side by side; press together lightly and twist.
Place on an ungreased baking sheet; curve top of cookie to form handle of cane. Repeat with remaining dough, placing cookies 2 in. apart on baking sheets.
Bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes or until set. Cool for 2 minutes before carefully removing to wire racks.

想要肉类不柴,还真得要低温长时间,这次的羊小腿用了300F-275F-250F,烤了5个小时,灰常的moist,用了婆婆的建议不要高于275F:))
这次做的土豆泥也非常受欢迎,用了婆婆的秘方---用Greek yogurt 代替了常用的butter和 cream cheese. 这个土豆泥是婆婆参加他人爬梯常常被要求带的.
甜点Ice Cream Supreme也不错,里面加了巧克力片和crispy rice cereal

Roasted Lamb Shanks:
12个羊小腿
5个大洋葱,切粗丁
3头大蒜,掰成单个(不用去皮,只需剥去最外面那层)
3根迷迭香
3根百里香
5根红罗卜,切粗丁
两根大蒜苗(leek),切粗段
800毫升红酒
900毫升鸡汤
盐,黑胡椒粉
橄榄油
剔掉羊小腿上的肥肉和筋膜
锅里放橄榄油,把羊小腿每个煎到变色,捞出
再放入洋葱,蒜头,百里香,迷迭香,大蒜苗,红罗卜炒香,倒入烤盘,上面摆上羊小腿,倒入红酒和鸡汤,撒上黑胡椒粉,盖上锡纸。
烤箱预热300F,烤半个小时转到275F,烤3个小时后,再转到250F,烤1个半小时或直到肉能脱骨
土豆泥的做法:
5磅土豆,去皮,切粗叮,一大头蒜(整大个),去皮,水,土豆,蒜头一起放锅里煮软,捞出,沥干水,2杯greek yogurt, 1杯parmesan cheese,1/4杯牛奶,盐,黑胡椒粉适量,打茸.
1杯葱沫,拌入土豆泥,把拌好的土豆泥倒入抹了黄油的9X13的烤盘,上面撒上点碎的黄油块,350F,烤40-50分钟,或表面金黄
如果只要吃土豆泥的,不用加葱和进烤箱那步.
