President Biden announced sweeping federal vaccine requirements today that include a mandate for all employers with more than 100 workers to require their employees to either get vaccinated or get tested weekly.
Biden is also signing an executive order to require all executive branch employees and contractors with the federal government to get vaccinated, without an option to get tested weekly instead.
All together, the new requirements could affect as many as 100 million people.
"We’ve been patient. But our patience is wearing thin, and your refusal has cost all of us," Biden said, speaking to approximately 80 million unvaccinated Americans.

在每日新增15万感染，1500左右病故的情况下谈共存就是不负责任。自然免疫风险太大。政府用行政命令是对的。但是是否行得通，是否有效，还要看。至少应该试一下，虽然引发抗议是必然的。

美国选择活下去的人应该还是比选择“若为自由故，二者皆可抛”的人多吧？
私人企业凭什么要求员工个人？这完全违法啊。员工如果按公司要求打疫苗出现问题，（家属）能告公司吗？
若人人都自我为中心，以自由、民主、人权为借口，就可我行我素 任意为所欲为，那社会还不乱套，麻烦就大了。
最简单例子，开车逆行，超速或闯红灯等，跟警察杠/较劲，这是我的“自由、民主、人权”试试看。
也是建立在我家个人的经历。 整个暑假我们出去旅行了3次。 小孩无数户外不戴口罩的play dates。多次家庭吃饭的聚会。8月份Delta已经让美国沦陷，我们如果没有疫苗的保护，后果不堪设想。
essential workers 到目前为止该打的基本都打了，这个新政只是会迫使一些还没打、又不想丢工作的政府雇员和essential workers 赶紧去打。

关键是，疫苗防感染的效果不佳，带来的免疫力逐渐下降。如果疫苗能杜绝感染和传染，那么，打疫苗的社会责任就很大，不打疫苗的人就真的是行走的病毒。这样的话，有社会责任心的人都会去打，政府强制的方针也更有说服力。
而现在的疫苗只是保护自己，而且是保护那么一段时间而已。那么，个人的考量就占主导地位。
虽然媒体说目前住院的重症的都是没打的，有占用社会医疗资源的问题。可是，吸烟、肥胖这些问题，政府和医疗科学界花了多少年、费了多大劲去引导民众，不也收效甚微？
白总话音未落，多少个共和党州长已经开始写状子了。这才是浪费社会资源呢。都是我们纳税人的钱啊，唉。
我不反疫苗，也不是给大家添堵，我也为这种种乱象忧心。谁不希望疫情被控制住？谁不希望我们生活的地方风调雨顺的？
没辙没辙的～看来还是那句老话：吃好睡好心情好，照顾好自己和家人。
