虽然我个人觉得换拜登也未必能带来更好的结果。但是如果全美国口径一致地称赞老川，那么老川就会变成真正危险的人物。正是有政治体制和言论自由的制衡，让我对老川不太担心。
这也是为啥我对主流媒体和教育界一致左倾担心，没有制衡就会失去平衡，容易坏事。
再说对新冠病毒，现在科学上本就存在很多未知与不明朗。
老川真性情与政客虚伪，更喜欢哪个？
专业期刊不应该涉及政治。这是基本原则也是常识。反过来想，如果有政治力量介入一家专业期刊，你要登这个，不要登那个，你要这样说，不要那样说，你肯定反对。因此，同样，专业期刊也不要介入政治。
介入个人的发言权利。 所以，言论自由是相对于公权力的，而不是相对个人权利。就是说，如果是我的博客，我就可以删你的评论，因为那是我的博客。
另外言论自由和所有个人权利一样，也有法律范畴的，但这是司法上的，不是政治上的。
披着科学外衣，赤膊上阵，加入政治混战了。

自视很高的名杂志编辑们，与其当Monday morning quarterback 自爽， 不如写一篇文章，细数一下这几个月来，各路科学家，对于新病毒是否空气传播，戴布口罩是否真能防病毒，临床医生哪种药物可试用，哪种是虎狼药在乱用，这前前后后各种各样互相矛盾的说法。看看现代科学leadership是怎样手忙脚乱对付一个突如其来的未知新病毒的。
我觉得一个和谐，可以真正进步的社会，应该是左右共存， 大家互相借鉴， 互相制约。 如果逼得让任何一方必须要采取超乎寻常举动（比如说科学家越界）， 都绝对说明是另一方也走得太远了。
我不是局内人， 没有足够的医学知识， 也不从事政治， 没有足够的信息可以从更高的大局看事情。 但大数据表明， 我们州不少郡， 今年三个季度的全部死亡人数（regardless of resons of death) 已经超过过去五年的全年平均值！我们是世界超级大国， 比我们落后的， 比我们人口密度大的， 都没有我们死人多， 这是无论如何都说不过去的。
