Imagine, one works hard, saves enough money and buys some land, then, surely his ownership of the land should be respected. But what about 1000 years afterward, should his descendants be granted the right to keep other humans away from utilising this piece of land for generations and generations since someone "bought" it monetarily 1000years ago?
Obviously not. The land is a natural resource. It is part of nature.
but it is conditional, not extensive, and limited to a proper period of time only. The trouble is, it is very hard to have a natural exit from this "ownership/所有权" for it is against the greedy side of human nature.
The capitalists are a new form of landlords. They will face a similar problem as the present world faces the same old paradox that once the old world faced when it was filled with landlords.
Try not to mourn over the experiences of your grandfather. He just happened to be facing the dismantlement of that paradox (so that it could estabolish itself in a new form). In his case, it wasn't that rough already.
土改了。末日临近,地主们惶惶不可终日。我爷爷稳坐镇上,嗤之以鼻:干我屁事,我还有一亩田吗?但不断有地主被斗被杀的消息传来,还有到外地去抓逃跑地主的。全家心中其实非常忐忑。
终于一日,老家的土改代表登门。我爷爷特地把自己最好的袍子穿上,一付大义凛然,视死如归的气概。昂首挺胸去见面。一见面,x老爷(农民都是老闰土),我们是来告知您的,你家成份是地主。老爷,我们都知道您开明。但您不是地主,方圆几十里都没个地主了,也不成个话。。。不过这次您不用回去,我们不用斗争您。分田分房也会给你家一份。过了这阵风,欢迎回去住住。。。
我爷爷的气势,一下子就全绥了。做了这么多年名不正言不顺的地主,共产党来了给他“正了名”?不过,当时一念之差,没有做个恶霸,现在连被批斗的价值都没有了。做人,还有更失败的吗?其实,不让我爷爷回乡是佃户们自己的小算盘。田已经在佃户们手里多年。现在如果说都是地主的,就要收起来再一齐分配。虽然真的会分到,但要将自己种的田交出去时,种种患得患失,一万个不情愿。现在该佃户们体会体会有产阶级的烦恼。。。
我爷爷和奶奶都没能活到文革,基本没被批斗过。合作化后,我奶奶曾经回乡做过一次秀。和其它四类分子站在一起,被严厉地训话批斗。但等上面视察的人一走,村里立刻请他们吃饭,然后用小推车把我奶奶送回了镇上。
他们都走了,没留下其他遗产,就几顶地主帽,父亲兄弟姐妹们一人一顶。我自小学毕业后就开始要填各种表格,父亲来帮助我。每到家庭成份这一栏,就犯愁犹豫:能不能填开明地主呢?这可是当年八路首长亲口说的。要不,填个破落地主会不会好一点。。。唉,怎么着你将来上学工作也要麻烦的。只是,咱们家这个地主,当得冤哪!
我继承了爷爷的大条神经。冤枉不冤枉的,做地主不干地主的事,或没地主之实却担地主之名,不正是我家这几十年的常态么?有啥大不了的。没个帽子压压,我这人一旦骄傲起来连自己都害怕。。。就这么到了文革后期,出了个政策,说是家庭成分可以只需填上一代的,不用追溯三代。不觉一阵风吹过,头上的地主帽子就不见了。。。
我爷爷的故事虽然另类荒诞,却其实是现实的极端反映。地主们,在这个人口、资源、和生产力组合的极度绷紧的环境中,已陷入深度困境。就拿地租来说,我爷爷是自己没出力收。但其它努力收的地主,也一样有收不着的;还有激起民变破家失性命的。在每一粒粮食都性命攸关时,收租不再是一个商业行为,而是佃农和地主间的一场场战争。为了能收到租,地主不得不雇人拥枪买通官府。收租的成本不断增高,地主必然会通过各种无赖手段转嫁到佃农头上,更增加残酷性和抵抗,成为恶性循环。而这些手段只要用了一样,就是不折不扣的恶霸。并不以地主们主观上是否想要作恶霸为转移。这个局面,揭示着这种生产和分配方式,以及其中的地主阶级,其实已经走进了历史的死胡同。

更長遠說,世界層面上看,國家的國土拥有權也是如此。衹是因為人類的"文明"制度使這個土地拥有權不能自然消散而要通過殘酷的鬥爭。而資源緊繃又使這個悖论更突出。

出了奇葩效果。固定货币地租无法承担通货膨胀风险,同时无法转嫁税负。客观上导致了欧洲大地主阶层的瓦解,有利于资本主义的发展壮大。但中国上千年来,存在大量免税特权阶层,地主一直可以将全部税负转移到佃户头上,从而让国家的税收调节机制完全失灵,直接导致国家财政崩溃,王朝更替。。。
确实走到了尽头。如果没有工业化,这种生产和分配方式是否还会继续呢?
尽管如此,一圈圈圆场跑下来,倒也没有进退失据,颇有魏晋风骨。不是有个姓莎的老头说过,世界是个大戏台,上场下场都步法不乱,就是一个好演员。。。
美国的地主雇佣的是短工。这个的地主雇佣的长工佃户,有些像以前美国的奴隶主和黑奴。有人身依附关系
即使如此美国也爆发北方工业资本对南方地主的内战。美国是个很特殊的国家,建国初期,几乎人人都是地主,因为北美是新大陆,土地资源近乎无限。
害我那天算了半天三十是怎么来的。。。
