Like I said, one good thing about the modern world is that all intellectual traditions are available for those motivated to learn, but you must nbe independent and think for yourself.
It is probably natural that most people don't like to think for themselves. They turn learning into a different kind of superstition. "Logic" is one of the most fashionable in their vocabulary of modernism. I wonder how many of them have really studied logic or higher math or fundamental physics or are willing to do so.
They have missed the oppotunity of real learning of other cultures which is the real intellectual luxury of the modern world. Sad.
It is also a conscequence to the cultural disparity between the west and the rest of world whcih is largely due to their political, economical and military disparities.
俺说个公孙龙的名实之辨，引来了狼兄的不要盲目崇拜古人论（俺没点开，是根据时间顺序判断的，估计是有感于于俺的帖子）。如果不是俺引来的，那么就算俺自言自语好了。
其实，俺崇拜科学，佩服西学，佩服苏格拉底，爱因斯坦，马斯克，贝左斯，。。。列不完，好吧。
对于古人，庸俗之辈，俺也不感冒。但对于古代的那些了不起的人，俺觉得他们不需要谁佩服，但是今天的人需要对他们有客观的准确的认识。
不是凭那点儿机械思维去歪曲。
如果你不想知道，不想认识，没关系，很好。科学的客观的思维已经够你忙的了。
如果你自己不知道，硬要去扭曲，那就不太好了，它符合你自己的三段论，但不太符合西方的治学逻辑态度。
因为今天人缺的不是扭曲，不是自己的三段论（我是对的，与我不同是错的，你与我不同，所以你是错的），而是客观，理性。
客观理性地看待古人的观点是不是盲目崇拜？
俺不知道。
俺知道客观真识地看待西方不是盲目崇拜。
西方的科学精神也不教人搞自我三段论。
看起来有点遗憾，有些朋友似乎学西方没学到精髓：不跟他一样崇拜西方的----对不起，是“客观看待西方的----观点（他的观点）不同，说点儿古代的思想，就是崇拜古代，盲目崇拜古代。
呵呵。
这是从西方哪位逻辑大师那学来的逻辑？
不知道。大概是亚里士少德。
不过，这种逻辑从古到今都不少见。这就显出了科学在今天的价值：它让那些不能客观理性分析事物的人感到掌握了真理，因此特别地充实，特别地自信。关键是，他们抓到的东西，知识，是别人验证过的，权威肯定过的，因此再怎么机械，也不会出大错。
同时，他们也不用再栖息在那些本来他们也搞不清楚的玄学哲学里说些他们自己也不懂也鄙视的话来换取功名了。他们可以跟真理站在一起，大胆地表达他们对不理解的东西的愤怒，因此而身心舒畅。
这对于真知来说也是一件好事，虽然它依然受到扭曲，但是那些本来委身在这个体系里的人都涌到科学体系中去了。
所以，科学，在机械思维横行的世界，真是救命稻草功德无量啊。

真要感谢科学。要不然，真不知道哪种学问经得住这种机械。
但你像是石凳斯坦說的喜歡安全感的那類科学工作者。
可在他功成名就后，陷入认知困境，觉得认知能力无法再提升。于是他来到中国拜南怀瑾为师，学习中国认知方法后，感觉自己的认知能力突破了瓶颈。也因此而对中国传统文化充满了敬意。
好像不知道天空中有太阳也有月亮还有星星一样。

科学理性把中国也给征服了，还剩什么好玩的了？
