why should one study Cornell hotel management major? Back
to 2000 year, some people from China came to Cornell to study this major-- then returned to Shanghai with immediate yearly salary 1 million of RMB-- that was a huge number by that time.
Cornell hotel management major-- is not rent and management of motel--it is a comprehesive training: including vision, design, lab force management, economics/account managment, information technology, etc.--- it is not the reception at the front desk.

once I was invited to have a diner at Cornell hotel management (3rd or 4th floor), one dish with 4 big shrimps tasted so delicious-- I never forgot it!

a series of photos about her daughter who is from Canada and is now a sophomer year @ Cornell Hotel-- she travelled all over world incuding africa, europe, asia, etc and learned the culture of everywhere-- likely she would incorprate her learning from her travel into her future career in the hotel managment.
UNC in-state tuition $9000/year, Cornell tuition $63000/year which one is good for kids.

俺娃的是Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management。
朋友的女儿，Cornell酒店管理。毕业后去了wall street/wells fargo. 2 年后跳槽 去投资公司 20万
酒店管理很大部分是地产投资。
实际上酒店投资真正赚钱的是地产增值，不是日常经营。
