Brown的CS 比大米的强，可这里全是踩brown却卖大米的。

Brown 的父母要有强大的心理建设才能扛住 紫檀的 peer pressure LOL

工程学院藤有四家入选T20研究生院，并没有那么 不堪。。哈哈

T10只有两家，而且在5名以外，与藤校总体的江湖地位不符啊，呵呵

ABC 有几个上graduate school 啊 除了MBA。

Ranking Methodology

Rankings of doctoral programs in the sciences published in 2022 were based solely on the results of surveys sent to academic officials in fall 2021 and early 2022 in biological sciences, chemistry, computer science, earth sciences, mathematics, physics, statistics and biostatistics.

Questionnaires were sent to the department heads and directors of graduate studies, or equivalent, at each program in each discipline.

 

本科CS排名也差不多是这样次序，大厂HR心里都有数，T10+藤校都是重点目标

拿了州大和藤CS录取的

大多数还是选藤除了极少数州大如UCB EECS

Peer nomination 嘛，看谁顺眼就投谁一票。在紫檀发个survey也可以做个排名。

csrankings 好多人喜欢看for graduate school ranking

因为它纯粹是看research 成绩的，没有human factor。csrankings 前20的藤就只有Cornell，Columbia 和 Penn。我觉得可以综合的来看，USnews + CSRANKING， 最好两个排名都在Top 20.

这个不好说，尤其是本州大有TOP CS的

毕竟学费差很多呢

藤的教授不比top4 的质量差，是少而已。要是per capital 一下，藤或许比top 4 强，CS里面里很多细分的专业，藤可以入top 4

比如AI 近几年cs rankings的排名，康仅次于cmu 排第二，现在是AI的天下，干嘛在乎总排名啊，什么system，who cares

 

哈哈哈，Brown居然还有cs graduate school ？ 以为它家只有本科 ...

也就ucb 的eecs

不过有H P的offer，肯定不去eecs

布朗的应用数学一直都很强的，一直到博士的。。

graduate排名indicates CS的质量

俺让小子利用这个条件多选几门数学课，小子哼哼哈哈不答应，然后选了一堆音乐课

UIUC UW GaTech UTA也是有一些的

我们这儿就有这样的，考虑学费地点等问题，没人说藤校不好哈

有利于招女娃喜欢，比上数学课强，好事。。。

为啥会相信三流杂志的排名？大多cs教授都推荐csrankings

不可能天下人石板一块。

不过，为了十几万的差价不值得，藤的教育和这些公立很不一样

大藤一般就从了，很少放弃的，中小藤可能有各自的想法

毕竟CS主要还是靠本事吃饭，如果文科金融经济之类的必须藤校啊

越到研究生院，越应该相信专家排名，而不是三流排名

好像不少。今年据说美国本科申请研究生的增加很多。

但system 好不好对大部分做aI的人几乎没用吧。 compiler都没几个学校是必修了吧。 
eventually 每个人都有自己的标准

如果去读CS博士，那些值得去？前10名左右的学校？当然跟具体哪个导师也有关系。

好像有个CS排名是综合了好几个排名整出来。以前有人贴过。找不到了。那个可能更有参考性

好像砸个麦铁都要去藤的吧！

是这个Brown的混合排名。去掉不靠谱的US News，就可以得到靠近真实的CS排名了。

如果再去掉placement rank (graduate faculty index), 得到的就是纯科研排名。藤校排名会大幅下降，州大排名大幅提升。
