The “beta chase” has been on, with various aggressive groups zooming in the past week or so as if everyone got the memo that fall is the season for adding risk. Here’s retail, biotech and small caps all trying in unison to break vertically from months-long ranges. None of this means a consequential peak is near or that the rally can’t push higher. But suggests we’re due to flatten out/cool off, and further upside from here might not stay in the books too long before a pullback.
