If you do not want to test at the moment, you can hold on to the tick for a few months just in case you have any unexplained illness and want to eliminate this tick as a possible source. I would recommend placing it in a zip-top plastic bag labeled with the date, where the tick was found (both zip code and location on the host--left arm, right foot, etc.), and any other notes you think might be helpful. That can be stored in your freezer long-term with no problems for testing.”

不是所有的tick都带病毒。你如果焦虑，那还是去查一下放心些。及时治疗是不会有事的。

这里的tick很多，所以避免不了跳到身上。不过，送去检查的多半都没事，如果tick没事，人自然应该也没事。如果有问题，再跟家庭医生说，预防为主的话，可以开些抗生素吃。从被咬到可以查血确定，好像还要一段时间。有一次发生在我回国前，就拿了药吃，后来也没事。
名字都特别长，我记不住。因为一个亲戚被感染过，症状就像流感，发烧。她当时还查过lime disease，没事。后来高烧不退，再去医院急诊，再查血，才发现是tick感染的一种病。很容易治愈，就是不能耽误，不然也能致命。
