USAF demonstration squadron (Thunderbird) was created in 1953. It is the third-oldest formal aerobatic team, after the French Airforce Patrouille de France created in 1931 and the US Navy Blue Angels created in 1946. The squadron tours the US as well as the world. Its name was originated from the mythology of North American culture [1].
I went only one show from the Thunderbird team. For the show site, I had to walk two and half an hour each way with a heavy backpack. Here are some pictures I took in that show in 2009.

without my xxxx, because my boss said my car was a junk (1990 Camry LE, manual shift, already had 234 K miles. In fact, it was not a junk). It happened that the show was on a weekend, there was no public bus available on this route in the weekend. So I decided to walk, two and half an hour one way. And this was not my only visit to the marine base, I thought there had been at least 3-4 times with my legs. By the way this city has a glorious feature: every morning, it is cloudy. Being sunny in the afternoon is the mercy from the God. But being cloudy is good for catching "sound boom"!
I bought this Nikon D70 from B&H, at the end of 2004, when it was first on the market. Lens is Sigma 50-500 mm, they called it as "silent motor". Other lens, when you focus, you could hear the sound of the motor as well as the gear.

美国确实是航空爱好者的最佳国家，数量多，品种齐全
2009，用炮筒子拍摄的照片，当时的DSLR和镜头还大致处于初级阶段，可见老夏当时已经是高端玩家。
老夏拍摄的几张编队飞行，是THUNDERBIRD经典MOVES，想补充点啥都难。
唯一的缺憾是阴天，但是这不是老夏的错。有点不解的是为啥走俩小时去现场。一般来说航展的停车场与展区十分钟内可以达到。是不是老夏的领导把车开走逛街去了。
质量可差了，有一段时间美国还有这种军车比赛，车子连续驾驶超过多少小时就能拿奖，哈哈，寒碜俄国的。
不但在技术上，而且在数量上都领先。
美国空军不但单机领先，而且在各种机型的协同也处于领先地位

陆基飞行员上航母，起飞会栽进海里，降落会撞舰或者落水，不用打，自己先挂廖。
中国现在拥有的舰载机飞行员数量，和日本航母末日莱特湾大海战差不多，真打起来，飞机航母还有，飞行员打光，没得玩廖。
