My sons and daughter love me, maybe because I invest time on them. Of course also money, but that's not the point.
I go to their school activities whenever it happens. I chaprone on field trips. And I take them to do things they love, like horseriding, fishing, walking and hiking, playing music.
Outside of my family, I'd like to be friendly but not try to make friends. People are good for a day's gathering at the church or temple, or synogogue, but not mingling together daily.
今天是我第二个生日。领导看完房子了，才想起来。为了省钱，烧了几个菜。吃晚饭的时候，叫上儿子，给老爸赶紧说Happy Birthday。。。
我说：你又想省钱啊。。。不是说去餐馆吃么？
领导说：忘了呗。就凑合一下。给你开瓶酒，有你的辣椒鱼，我又做了红烧虾，还有鲍鱼白菜。。。
我说：算了，酒就不开了。晚上村民说不定会找我的。这么多菜够我吃了。。。
傍晚走一英里，路上碰到的都是酒友：正去你那里呢。掉头吧。。。
这不，三个喝酒的开一瓶红酒，三瓶啤酒。老大送个短信。又老了一岁。。。
总听人说美国是好山好水好寂寞。真的，投资点时间，几瓶酒，我家每个周末都没有闲下来的时候：不是去这家包个饺子，就是那家喝杯茶聊个天。酒友们的孩子来个电话，都要问问阿猫叔叔好。领导说：和当年在青海差不多。爹妈一出差，我就这家跑到那家，爹妈的朋友同事照顾我。。。
Fisherman。我记得在WXC看到过Fisherman8了。。。
不过，花钱出海钓过的朋友说：雷达下的钓鱼不是真本事。。。
约好领导明早去捡柴火。农地里砍了很多树，正好捡回来秋天后院烤篝火。。。。
老了，脾气就好了。再说，那么多人说“人艰难不拆”。。。
领导知道吗？
没办法，里面太多生活相关的细节，被有心人挖出来。。。
当然湖钓呢最轻松。
