首先声明:这是根据过去10年几十个药厂了解的情况的个人总结,如有偏颇之处请指正.

先说说底薪, 奖金和股票的待遇情况.
Entry level (PhD + 0-2 years): base 10-12w + 10-12% bonus + 1-2w RSUs per
year
Principal level biostatistician (PhD + 3-6 years exp): base 13-16w + 12-15% bonus + 2-3w RSUs per year
Associate Director (PhD + 6-10 years exp): base 15 -18w + 15-20% bonus + 3-
5w RSUs per year
Director (PhD + 10-15 years): base 17 - 21w + 20-25% bonus + 6-8w RSUs per
year
Senior Director (PhD + 15 plus years): base 21-25w + 25-35% bonus + 10-15w
RSUs per year
说明: (1) 股票收入主要是对于雇员数量少于1万人的药厂. 人数超过1万人的药厂可能没有股票或者只有上面的一半左右. (2) Master level的统计师需要相应加上3-5年工
作经验. (3) 以上数字主要来源于新泽西,波士顿, 加州,芝加哥地区. 但是药厂待遇地域差别不大, 最贵的北加和midwest也就差个2-3万.

Total package总结如下:
Entry level (PhD + 0-2 years): ~ 13w (range12-15w)
Principal level biostatistician (PhD + 3-6 years exp): ~18w (range: 16-20w)
Associate Director (PhD + 6-10 years exp): ~23w (range: 20-26w)
Director (PhD + 10-15 years): ~30w (26 - 34w)
Senior Director (PhD + 15 plus years): ~ 40w (35-45)
说明: (1) 如果是超过1万人的大药厂可能会因为股票偏少而整体package比上面低些. (2) range大概cover 80-90%的人,但是会有outliers高于或低于这个range.

总体来说还是比不上flag等一线CS的金融quant的待遇. 但是除这2个之外不比任何其他理工科待遇差了. 所以还是个不错的职业方向.

大公司 好像 没有， 或没这么多股票，
钱上 也听说没这么高，
但是 工作 确实轻松， 主要是 不像 cs 那样 高强度 脑力 劳动，
经验值钱， 越老越值钱

I guess you are correct, but I think the other scientist roles are much more difficult to climb up the ladder to AD/D levels than statistics.
