我觉得那个is today a busy day for you? 挺奇怪的，完全是中文“你忙不忙”的翻译。 应该说 sorry to bother again，but i really need the letter for my Visa appointment on xxx(date), much appreciate if you can sign it.....之类的。。。 一般说有了appointment人家不会给你耽误的。

I don't know what company you are working for. Usually HR has a specific function/team that provides employment verification electronically or through a call in number. If not, usually support teams such as HR has an established service level agreement regarding the turnaround time for certain request. You need to understand what the turnaround is (probably a week given how notorious HR's speed is). Unless you have pressing reasons to ask for a quicker turnaround (could be bad planning on your part therefore should not have pressured the HR staff) and/or provided that the HR staff can accommodate, you need to leave him/her alone until she gets back to you. That's just out of basic respect of your colleagues. Imagine someone dogging you everyday for some deliverables that you've never committed to...

大概是楼主比较急性子，比如想HR出一封employment letter,我在邮件里把信的内容全都type好了，对方只需要打印出来签个字儿的事儿，但是拖了2天了，所以我这两天每天快下班的时候都发message问我可不可以去取，具体是说，xxx， is today a busy day for you? Is the letter ready for pick up第一天她说比较忙，今天我下班前又问，她说No, it's not! 不理解为什么随手就能办的事要拖着，我特别pushy? 想听听大家的意见

还有就是要催人的时候最好打电话或者当面问。一个是对话当中语气会比书面柔软许多, 再一个如果对方没及时处理你给人家留个written record会很得罪人。就算发信也可以语气友好点，Hey hope your day is going well, just a friendly reminder of xxx / sorry to bug you but do you have an update on xxx? Understand you must be busy so let me know if there's anything I can do to make it easier for you.

要催也不能直接很生硬得催。瞎给个理由说为什么急要。

一般说有了appointment人家不会给你耽误的。
至于语气什么的都是次要的，只要不要rude和demanding就好了。也不用特意很殷勤。就自然点。
你这个邮件写的非常粗鲁，非常不professional。人家忙不忙关你什么事？你这就是在找架吵。
你觉得别人签个字就可以。别人如果负责任，必须要自己逐字逐句阅读推敲，审核关键信息，甚至有些重要信息需要报批， 绝对不是几秒钟签个字这么简单。而且，根据你提供的信息，看来你的公文能力不怎么样，人家阅读修改绝对必须。
以上这么大量工作，至少二十分钟吧？如果要报批，那就由不得他／她了。才两天而已，真心不算长。
正确的做法是： 告诉人家这个信很重要，希望能把priority排的高一点，并且告诉别人你期待什么时候能够拿到信，然后表达你最诚挚的感谢，甚至可以提一句given such a short notice.

你刚开始就应该说你什么时候需要这个文件 说是time sensitive 问他大概什么时候可以帮你准备好
然后就等他说ready了再去拿。。。 这样子催人谁会喜欢 跟HR那需要哄什么东西 这是他的工作。。。
再说employment letter是公司应该会准备好的 你还需要打什么内容？
公司基本都有TAT吧。不能指望你今天 说明天办好啊。

我觉得LZ就发封邮件问一下就好了，就用那些套话就行，前面好几个MM建议的都很好。跟人家发message,还问人家is it a busy day for you?有点奇怪。
